This square HOOD MOUNTED ASHTRAY is offered fitted to the Brunel litter bin. The ashtray top is manufactured in weather and fire-resistant stainless steel, with an etched cigarette symbol. The top has four cigarette disposal apertures and four ash stubbing areas.
The ashtray is quick and easy to empty as a weighted trapdoor is simply pushed upward to release the ashtray contents (please see more images for details). The cigarette ends then fall into the general waste liner for collection. The mechanism is tamper resistant as the trapdoor is concealed in the hood of the litter bin.
HOOD MOUNTED ASHTRAY can be supplied if required in retrofit kit form for use on existing Brunel litter bins. The kit includes a cutting and drilling jig/template which is used to mark the aperture and fixing hole positions in the top of the bin for the ashtray to be fixed into. (You will also require a battery operated drill, a battery operated jigsaw, a 10mm drill bit and a 10mm spanner.) |
